The 144,000 who follow the Christ are offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. They are those who were persecuted to death for being witnesses for the Christ and preaching the gospel. God brought them together with the Christ. They are the first to be resurrected and to be born again. The Christ will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, to gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heavens to the other.
