“The harvest is the end of the age,” refers to the timing of Christ’s second coming. When Christ comes again, He will harvest the good wheats and bundle the weeds to be burnt.
"Don’t do to others what you don’t want to be done to you" is about understanding others, putting yourself in their position, respecting others, and helping those in need. This is exactly what the Lord said: "Do to others what you would have them do to you."
Jesus teaches us to cultivate inner compassion and pay less attention to external rituals, because sacrifice is offering something good to God and expressing love for Him. Jesus said, "I desire mercy." He is merciful to sinners and wants to call sinners, because everyone in the world is a sinner.
Loving God with all our heart and mind is well understood, as we often talk about it. Only with wisdom can we know the truth and witness what God is all about.
