"Don’t do to others what you don’t want to be done to you" is about understanding others, putting yourself in their position, respecting others, and helping those in need. This is exactly what the Lord said: "Do to others what you would have them do to you."
Don’t be afraid of losing the physical body, as the body won’t feel anything after death. Our consciousness comes from the mind and the soul.
Jesus teaches us to cultivate inner compassion and pay less attention to external rituals, because sacrifice is offering something good to God and expressing love for Him. Jesus said, "I desire mercy." He is merciful to sinners and wants to call sinners, because everyone in the world is a sinner.
