Nowadays believers usually believe that, Jesus came to the world as God Incarnate and the only begotten Son of God.

He is the Messiah (the Savior) prophesied in the Old Testament. 

Does God also carry out the one-child policy?

In john, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and Only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

The word “only”here is interpreted as “one and only”. In the current Chinese version, it is also translated as “one and only”. But in English, “only” also carries the meanings of “the best”, “the most suitable” and “special”.

In the New Testament published by the Holy See, Jesus is usually called the only Son of God. Therefore, the Pope also becomes the only one, the only messenger of God. You can imagine their dignity and status. The New Testament published by the Holy See is an abridged version.

Of course, there are clues of abridgment, which we can still find somewhere in the bible. For example:

1. In John, Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" (John 20:17)

From this message, we can see that Jesus is telling us that: 

the Father is His Father and also everyone’s Father;

God is His God and also everyone’s God.

Jesus did not claim himself to be the only begotten Son of God.

2. In Matthew, Jesus said: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

Here the plural form: “sons” is used, which also shows that God has more than one son.

3. In Job, “Now there was a day when the Sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and satan also came among them.” (Job 1:6)

It’s said pretty clear:“the sons of God”, which is also a plural form.

Therefore, the Bible says that Jesus is the son of God. 

But it’s different from ordinary people’s imagination of marrying a wife and delivering a son.

God is the Creator of everything.

the angels were created by Him, so were Adam and Eve, the first ancestors of mankind.

Jesus was not an exception either. He was also created by God.

Jesus is the messenger of God.

That is to say, all spiritual beings are sons of God.

Most Jews and Muslims regard Jesus as just one of the great prophets.

Jesus is called the best and special son of God, because Jesus is free from the original sin (the sinful nature) and completely knows God’s will. 

He is God Incarnate, who came to the world to fulfill God’s will to save the world. He is “the last Adam”. From this perspective, Jesus is also an angel. 

Through practice life after life, Jesus has completely eradicated the Original Sin and is free from the sinful nature. However, the other angels might fall, because although they repent better than worldly people and don’t sin, their original sin hasn’t been completely repented, and they still have greed, envy and pride. Therefore, they still need to keep repenting, otherwise they might fall. From this perspective, Jesus is the best and most special son of God.
