Edgar Cayce（1877-1945) is recognized as an outstanding prophet of the 21st century.

1. Little did he know, a realm that was completely unfamiliar to him was opening up to him and would deeply affect his beliefs.

Cayce's fame was growing with his spiritual power. Meanwhile, there were many people who didn't believe in him.

2. In fact, Cayce himself went through an important process in his recognition with reincarnation.

Once, when giving “readings” for a man from Ohio, Cayce said at The end, "This man was a monk in his past life".

This time, Cayce was in trouble again. Because the existence of "past life" means the existence of reincarnation, but as a Christian, this concept was still very strange to him.

Cayce began to pray and seek "readings" of the puzzle. The answer is "Read the bible from beginning to end."

That is, "What is reincarnation?" He replied in a hypnotic state: "Read the Bible carefully from beginning to end."

He taught himself because he could only find the correct answer while under hypothesis.

The connotation of the Bible came to mind, asking Cayce to pay attention to the meaning and commonality of life --- the commonality of all life.

After carefully reading the Bible from beginning to end,  Cayce finally found that the concept of reincarnation did not conflict with Christianity, and it was also consistent with his understanding of "What it meant to be a Christian?"

3. That is just a brief sharing, later, he reinterpreted the Bible. He also believed that reincarnation had no conflict with Christianity and the Bible.

Cayce's “readings” on a person had nothing to do with whether he knew the person.

Cayce himself revealed that he had been a high priest in Egypt many centuries ago, who was possessed of great occult powers; but self-will and sensuality proved his undoing. All his virtues and defects of the present were frankly appraised and attributed to one or another of his many previous experiences. (He completely believed in reincarnation.)

The present lifetime was a kind of test for his soul; he had been given the opportunity to serve mankind selflessly, and thus redeem the pride, materialism, and sensuality of his past.
