Interpreting the Prophet: Edgar Cayce
From Cayce’s reading on reincarnation, each of us is not passively acting out a written script, but we are in fact actively involved in each of our life journeys.
The first is the Law of Karma, which is about cause and effect.
1. The Law of Karma
When it comes to the Law of Karma in reincarnation, most people understand that the difficulties we face and the kinship we experience are our "karma".
In Sanskrit, the word karma is interpreted as “cause and effect”.
The most striking thing, however, is Cayce’s unique interpretation:
Karma can be concisely defined as karmic seeds.
Karma is not a stack of debts for us to pay back, but a pool of information stored in our subconscious mind.
These karmic seeds, stored in our habitual tendencies which are recessive and potential, exert influence on our abilities, drive us to make right or wrong decisions, build relationships with others, etc.
For example, someone in his past life was bullied by another and passed away with deep resentment.
It is highly possible that in this lifetime, they decide to work together to untie the knot that has held them against growth.
In this way, they may appear as husband and wife, father and son, colleagues, etc.
Unreasonable suspicion, dissatisfaction and distrust keeps emerging.
Then comes a crisis.
Both are thinking why it is my own "karma" to meet such a person!
If someone approaches the crisis with forgiveness and care, then the memory in his subconscious mind no longer works for him, because the grace of love has changed it.
Alternatively, if you approach the crisis with strike, persecution or other amoral means, then your mission will fail.
Alternatively, if you approach the crisis with strike, persecution or other amoral means, then your mission will fail.
Overall, souls reincarnate in groups.
We select birthplace, parents, siblings, even partners and children.
We can choose to be born male or female in this lifetime.
The purpose of these choices is clear: to best allow us to learn those lessons we need for completeness.
And the ultimate purpose is to completely show your selfless love, no matter how difficult and challenging it is!
Whether the mission can be completed or not depends on the choice that our innate free will has made.
