Question: Pastor, how to study the bible?

Answer: Whether emotionally or rationally, ordinary people cannot perceive anything of God.

We can only believe in God’s existence and power through what the Christ has said and done. The Christ showed His love and power on the world with many miracles.

This is the emotional perception based on which we believe in the Christ. But we should also have rational knowledge to believe in the Christ. Otherwise our faith is blind.

The theologians and philosophers in history, such as Augustine, all have rational knowledge of what God and the Christ have said and done. The words in the New Testament are not only emotional, but also rational and logical. If it is illogical, it makes no sense, and cannot be truth.

How could something illogical be truth? What the Christ taught are all truth, being both emotional and rational. This applies to all truth.
