Gospel Q & A
Question: Can people who do good deeds but don't believe in God be reborn in heaven?
Answer: Those who don't believe in God naturally don't believe in heaven.
Although they may do good deeds, they lack the motivation to enter heaven.
As a result, their good deeds will be rewarded in this life or the next life, but they cannot be reborn in heaven after death.
Only after believing in God and hearing the gospel of heaven will one have the motivation to enter heaven. Therefore, they will repent, turn away from evil, and do good; after accumulating for a long time, they may have a chance to enter heaven after death.
However, usually one cannot complete such accumulation in a single lifetime. Only after accumulating throughout many lifetimes, can one repent thoroughly and be qualified to attain rebirth in heaven.
