Question: Pastor, do humans also have spirituality?
Answer: When God created humans, spirituality was given. The spirituality of mankind is eternal. Therefore, souls are immortal.
Spirituality is manifested as the free will of humans. But humans also have sinful nature. The sinful nature was not originally there. Rather, it was gradually formed after numerous reincarnations, due to abusing free will given by God. In the bible, Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit.
This represents that humans abuse their free will, turn away from God, and destroy the perfection of the universe. The soul cannot control the body. Driven by desire, humans love worldly things more than God. Human cognition is destroyed and becomes unable to know reality as it really is. The spirituality of mankind is buried in sinful nature, while we are not even aware.
To save us, God sent the Christ to do the work, tell us the truth, and the methods, to eradicate sinful nature.
Since humans have spirituality, when we practice Gods’ teachings and repent, we can eradicate sinful nature, recover our spirituality, return to heaven, and stay with God forever.
