The Second Coming
“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (revelation 19:10)
The gift of prophecy was there when Jesus came at the first time. There are many testimonies in the Old Testament.
Christ’s second coming this time was frequently prophesied in the New Testament.
In the last 2000 years, especially the last 100 years, there have been many prophets prophesied.
As Jesus said, "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." (john 16:12-13)
So what is truth?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
Truth is the Word.
Truth is the principle contained in the reality of the universe and life.
There are three features of truth: universality, eternity, and independence. Here independence is also called naturalness.
As Tao Te Ching says, stands alone and unchanging, pervading all things without limit.
As we know, God created the universe and lives. So only God knows the reality of the universe and life, as well as the truth contained in it completely.
As the bible recorded, Jesus is the Son of God, God incarnate. He was sent by God to work among us, as the Son of Man. He preached truth, brought the way and the life to mankind.
Just as Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)
Christ will speak at His return, leading mankind to understand all the truth.
