The Second Coming
Hello everyone. In the previous sermon, we talked about how The second coming of the Lord shall be in a hidden way as the Son of Man.
Someone asked, “The bible also predicts that the Lord will return with clouds. So, is there any contradiction between this and the Lord's secret return as the Son of Man?”
Answer: The Lord's return will definitely be on clouds, but not publicly on clouds at first.
First of all, since the date of the Lord's return is uncertain, no one knows.
Nowadays, if a person really comes with the clouds in public, the first reaction of most people in the world should be that aliens are coming, and the FBI and scientists will definitely hold secret meetings at once, arrest this person secretly in order to do scientific research, and the majority of people will just watch.
Secondly, even if it is true that someone comes with the clouds in public, it does not prove that this person is the real Lord Christ. He might be some other angel or deity, or probably false Christ, false prophet.
Therefore, we cannot identify it as true or false from here. Just like the real and fake Monkey King, you cannot tell the difference based solely on their appearance or supernatural powers.
Thirdly, if at the beginning the Lord Christ is truly publicly coming on the clouds, he can only hide himself from place to place, which makes it difficult to carry out his work.
Therefore, initially the Lord’s return with the clouds will not be in public.
Instead, he is coming secretly. “Returning with the clouds” and “in a secret way” are not contradictory.
