The Second Coming
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' (Matthew 7:22)
perform many miracles in your name.
Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (Matthew 7:23)
In Matthew 7:21, Jesus clearly says that on that day, not everyone who calls Him Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of the Father.
Matthew 7:22 If you think that prophesying, driving out demons and performing miracles in Jesus' name is doing the Father's will, then you need to kneel down and repent.
in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said: “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”.
Then what is considered as truly doing the Father's will?
We must know that prophesying, driving out demons and performing miracles can also be carried out by false Christs and false prophets.
Our actions and knowledge must go hand in hand.
But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, (Matthew 6:3)
so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. (Matthew 6:4)
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others.
